The CloudFest Hackathon 2019 is just around the corner!
It's time again! For the fourth time the CloudFest Hackathon will take place at Europa-Park Rust. From 23 - 25 March 2019, developers from the cloud industry and from all over the world will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects for 3 days and turn their ideas into products.
Hackathon Goes Open Source
Every year in March, the Hackathon takes place as part of the CloudFest. What was new this year, however, was that its design was placed more in the hands of the open source community. From now on, participants will have the opportunity to submit their own projects.

ID4me Plugin Fiesta
At the 4th CloudFest Hackathon, developers from the cloud industry work together on exciting open source projects. 1&1 IONOS is part of the Technical Work Group of ID4me and supports the project "ID4me Plugin Fiesta". We have compiled all of the information about this here.

Internet Legend Paul Mockapetris as Patron of the 1&1 Cloud.Community Hackathon 2017
A special guest of honour was the godfather of the Hackathon. Paul Mockapetris, Internet pioneer and Domain Name System inventor, mingled with the participants and answered questions about the history, operation and future of the Domain Name System (DNS).
